THE JOB:
Our Client is looking for an experienced Java Developer to help them pierce the market with the innovative mobile technologies.
SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER (BERLIN)( PS1339A)
MUST HAVES
4+years experience in Java development, Java, JEE, JVM, Spring, Hibernate, OOP, REST, MVC, Git, SVN, Version Control, Agile, Kanban, Scrum, XMPP, MongoDB, MySQL, Tomcat, Geolocation; EU CITIZEN ONLY
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Create an architectural and functional design for our Back End service
* Implementation of new features and further development of existing components
* Defining the developments requirements and necessary resources
* Guarantee the quality of the software code through continued testing, code reviews and documentation
* Create / expand RESTful APIs that communicate with mobile Front Ends
* Work within the team to resolve web production issues
* Write clean and readable code
YOUR PROFILE
* At least 4 years of professional experience with Java
* Solid understanding of Java / JEE and JVM
* Knowledge in Spring / Hibernate as well as, Object Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, ServiceOriented Architecture (REST), Test and Behaviour Driven Development (TDD / BDD) and the principlesof Agile Development
* Knowledge of Version Control Systems like Git/SVN
* Basic experience with Agile methodologies like Kanban and Scrum
* Ideally experience XMPP (OpenFire)
* Bonus points for experience in MongoDB, MySQL and Apache Tomcat
* Ideally experience with Geolocation technologies
